This Thursday, independent cinema enthusiasts will convene at the historic Egyptian Theatre for the 19th Annual Arpa InternationalFilm Festival’s Opening Night featuring the world premiere of BRAVO VIRTUOSO, (France) Directed by Levon Minasian.
Set on post-Soviet Armenia, Alik, 25, has been raised by his grandfather, a conductor of a renowned classical orchestra. At a time where cultural institutions are failing and oligarchs allied with the mafia hold the power, Alik, a clarinetist, is the virtuoso in this orchestra whose existence is seriously threatened when its key sponsor is murdered.
