With the kind support of Swarovski, Baxter of California and Bombet Hospitality Group, Barnsdall Art Park’s out-of-the-box summer fundraiser “Breaking Convention” Summer Soiree took place on Friday, July 15th. Axelrod’s three-day take over of the Park, offering guests a preview of his incredible Barnsdall’s “Breaking Convention” fundraiser kicked off Artist Aaron Axelrod’s three-day take over of the Park, offering guests a preview of his incrediblemulti-media exhibition, Dark Matter. The summer fundraiser delivered an interactive evening of art, food, and fundraising on Hollyhock House’s West Lawn. Guests previewed a spectacular Axelrod and Swarovski collaboration art piece housed at LAMAG, featuring almost 700,000 multi-color crystals. The evening’s cuisine was curated by executive chefs from Terrine, Faith & Flower, Hanjip, and Viviane, four of Los Angeles’ top restaurants under Bombet Hospitality Group.
