Writer/Director Sam Friedlander’s (“Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant”), second feature film, the comedic gem “Babysplitters” which won the Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the world premiere and Audience Award for Comedy Feature recently at the Woods Hole Film Festival. “Babysplitters” is a fresh take on the age old struggle of a couple coming into agreement about having children, and they aren’t the only ones – cleverly taking two friendly couples into unforeseen territory as they choose to split a baby. Logline: When two couples with mixed feelings about having kids hatch a plan share one baby, things spiral out of control.

Synopsis:

Jeff and Sarah are struggling to come to an agreement about having a baby. Sarah is ready, Jeff is not. Their mutual friends Don and Taylor have the opposite problem — Don wants kids and Taylor doesn’t. When the two couples hatch a plan to share one baby between them, it seems like they may have found the perfect compromise — until things spiral out of control.
